Cultural & Wine Tours
Six days on the roads the coaches never take: Saxon villages, small family farms, a cellar with one winemaker, and dinners where the host still cooks what the garden gave that morning.
Because you have already seen the famous places elsewhere in Europe. This is the Romania most visitors drive past without knowing it is there.
The quiet of a village at dusk, bread still warm from the oven, and the feeling of being a guest rather than a tourist.
Fortified churches without the crowds, craftspeople who still work by hand, small producers of cheese, honey and wine, and the people behind them.
We stay in two or three villages rather than changing hotel every night. Each day has one or two visits and plenty of time to simply be there: a walk between hay meadows, a coffee in a courtyard, a long lunch.
The route changes slightly with the season and with the families who can welcome us. That is part of the point.

We meet you at the airport and drive to a Saxon village guesthouse. A short walk before dinner.
Morning at a fortified church, afternoon cooking with a local host.
A cheese maker, a beekeeper and a small family winery.
A slow drive on secondary roads, with stops wherever it is beautiful.
Free morning, an easy walk, and a farewell dinner with our hosts.
A relaxed breakfast and transfer to the airport.
We take care of everything: flights, transfers, accommodation, meals, a bilingual guide, and the small details you only notice when they're missing.
We travel in small groups, with local partners we know personally, and one point of contact before you fly and throughout your trip.
Available as a small-group journey on set dates or as a private journey on your own dates. Best seasons: April–June and September–October.
# Travel Conditions
At Romania Soul Tours, we want every journey to be well organised, comfortable and enjoyable. Before booking, please take a moment to read the general travel conditions below, together with the specific information and terms provided for your chosen journey.
Each journey may have its own booking and payment conditions. Details of the deposit, balance payment and payment deadlines will be clearly provided before your booking is confirmed.
Our itineraries are carefully planned, but occasionally changes may be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, road access, local events, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. If changes are required, we will always aim to preserve the character and overall experience of your journey.
We carefully select transport and accommodation according to the type and style of each journey. Full details of the accommodation, transport and relevant facilities are provided on the individual journey page.
Our journeys are designed to allow time to explore, relax and enjoy local experiences. Depending on the itinerary, you may encounter walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, longer drives or other physical requirements. Relevant information will be provided for each journey.
Please tell us before booking about any special requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility considerations or other circumstances that may be important for us to know when planning your journey.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all documents required for your journey, including a valid passport, visa or other documentation where applicable.
We strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance before travelling. Your policy should provide suitable cover for cancellation, medical expenses and other circumstances relevant to your journey.
The conditions for changing or cancelling a booking vary depending on the journey and will be set out in the applicable booking terms and conditions.
Our small-group journeys are designed to keep the experience personal and relaxed. Group sizes and any specific requirements will be clearly stated for each departure.
If you are unsure whether a particular journey is right for you, please contact us before booking. We are happy to explain the itinerary, walking requirements, transport, accommodation, pace and anything else you would like to know.
We don't believe Romania should be seen in a hurry. We want you to know what to expect before you travel, so that once you arrive, you can relax and enjoy Romania.
Important: These are general travel conditions and do not replace the full Terms & Conditions applicable to your booking. Specific journey terms, including pricing, deposits, cancellation policies, inclusions and exclusions, will apply where stated.
