What this journey is about

For organisations wanting a properly planned group trip, not a self-organised one.

Romania makes a memorable setting for a group trip — whether that's an incentive reward, a milestone celebration, or simply a chance to bring people together somewhere new. Programmes typically combine cultural discovery with food and wine, an outdoor day or two, and experiences arranged specifically for the group rather than picked from a standard tour.

Every group is different, so every programme is planned around your dates, group size and objectives from the outset, rather than adapted from an individual itinerary. Accommodation and experiences are matched to the occasion, from a relaxed team trip to a more formal event-based programme.

Group travel suits:

  • Companies organising incentive trips or team rewards
  • Associations and clubs marking an occasion or anniversary
  • Any organisation wanting a professionally run trip rather than a self-planned one

Private transport, dedicated guides and a single point of contact manage the details before and during the trip, so the organiser isn't left coordinating logistics on the ground.

What you can expect

What a incentive & group travel journey feels like

  • Groups planned properly

Programmes are designed around your actual group size and structure from the outset, not squeezed into a standard small-group format.

  • Local knowledge

Dedicated guides who understand both the destinations and the practicalities of moving a larger group smoothly and on schedule.

  • Comfortable accommodation

Properties matched to the occasion and group size, from relaxed guesthouses to venues suited to a more formal event or dinner.

  • Carefully planned routes

Logistics planned around your group's actual size and schedule, keeping travel time and transfers realistic throughout the programme.

  • Time to explore

A balance of organised programme and free time, so the trip doesn't feel like a continuous itinerary of activities.

  • One point of contact

A single point of contact manages the details before and during the trip, so the organiser isn't chasing logistics.

How we design these journeys

We design group programmes around logistics as much as experiences.

A group programme lives or dies on logistics, so we plan transport, timing and venue capacity as carefully as the experiences themselves.

Principles we work to:

  • Transport and timings planned around the actual group size
  • A realistic balance between organised activities and free time
  • Venues and accommodation checked for group capacity, not just comfort
  • A single point of contact managing details before and during the trip
  • Contingency planning built in for weather or last-minute changes
  • Everything agreed and confirmed with the organiser before departure

    Choose your journey

Pick a tour and a date, or tell us you would like a private trip on your own dates.

  2. 2

    Ask us anything

Book online with a deposit or send an enquiry. Nick replies personally, usually within one working day.

  3. 3

    Receive everything in writing

Confirmation, invoice and, a few days before you travel, your final itinerary and travel documents.

  4. 4

    Travel without worrying

You enjoy Romania. We look after the transport, the rooms, the tickets and the small details.

What every journey includes

We don't just show you Romania. We help you experience it.

Small groups, never coach crowds

Private journeys or small groups, so you have time, space and real conversations along the way.

Places chosen for a reason

Boutique hotels, traditional guesthouses and historic homes. We choose them for their story and their comfort, never just for price.

Local guides who know the people

Guides who live where you travel and know the stories, the families and the best table in the village.

Comfortable, reliable transport

A comfortable vehicle with a professional driver, from the airport to your last evening. Short drives, plenty of stops.

A slow, flexible pace

Fewer places, more time. Your days can change with your energy, your interests and the weather.

Someone has taken care of everything

One team and one phone number, before you fly, while you travel and after you are home.

Questions before you book

How do I book a trip?

Choose the tour that suits you and send your enquiry from its page, or use "Build your trip" for something tailor-made. We reply personally, usually with a few questions, then put together availability and next steps around your dates.

How does payment work?

A 30% deposit secures your place on a trip, with the balance due before departure. Payment details, deadlines and accepted methods are shown clearly on each tour, and we're always happy to talk you through them directly.

Can I pay in GBP or EUR?

Most of our tours are priced in GBP. Where a tour is priced in EUR, you can also pay in GBP, converted at our bank's exchange rate plus a small margin, which simply covers the currency risk on our side.

What's included in the price?

Every tour lists exactly what's included and what's not, under "What's included" and "What's not included" on its own page, so you know precisely what you're paying for before you book, with nothing hidden or assumed.

Who are the trips for?

All ages: young couples, families, multi-generational groups, and travellers who have time to travel differently. Every tour shows its pace, easy, moderate or active, so you can see straightaway whether it suits you and your travelling companions.

What if the group doesn't fill up?

Each small-group tour states its minimum group size and what happens if that number isn't reached. We'll always contact you well in advance if a departure needs to change, and we'll talk through your options together.
